It’s officially announced that the Maryland Film Festival has chosen its new home, the historic Parkway Theatre, the historic structure dates back to the early days of Vaudeville on October 23rd 1915 with the showing of Pauline Frederick in Zaza. Now today it sits waiting to be restored and renovated as the new Parkway Theatre home of the Maryland Film Festival scheduled to open 2015 nearly a century after it opened in 1915.
