1863 Cinema Playbill Advertising the Opening of Cinema 63
This is a playbill from the 1863 Cinema advertising the opening of Cinema 63 in August 1978. The first movie to be shown was Saturday Night Fever, but “technical problems” forced a raincheck on tickets that night (Bon Ami cleaner on the lamphouse mirror darkened shortly after the carbon arcs were fired up).
