“Father Goose” opened on December 10th, 1964, as part of the Christmas Holiday Show. This marked the second Christmas in succession that Cary Grant occupied the screen (“Charade” in 1963). It was also Grant’s last appearance at the Music Hall. He made only one more movie, “Walk, Don’t Run” (1966), but RCMH wasn’t enthusiastic, and it made its NYC debut at Loew’s Capitol.
