On December 27, 1925, the theater got its third name after the Garden and Jefferson. Because the Jefferson was running Pantages Vaudeville shows sporadically, the theater changed its name to the Pantages Theater. R.J. Stinette’s house wouldn’t perform well and was sold to the Cyrstal Theater’s W.G. Underwood in 1931. Underwood installed both the Vitaphone and the Movietone sound system while changing the name to the Ritz Theater opening on October 15, 1928.
