The opening of Tampa’s newest plush theatre was held on Thursday evening, November 20th, 1969 with “The Undefeated” as the opening attraction. The adjacent drive-in theatre was renamed the Hillsboro-II Drive-In. Ad from the Tampa Tribune dated November 19th, 1969.
