The Starlight Drive-In Opens at Aspley — 1957 courtesy of Old Brisbane.

Natalie Grice writes - My mother worked there for many years and as kids we loved playing in the amusement park before watching a movie and getting rectangular vanilla ice creams in a little wrapper. It was always a treat. Such great memories!

Leanne May - The site is now Regis Aged Care Aspley, the corridors / rooms where residents reside are named after movie stars, my dear mum being in Monroe section, lovely calming facility and my mum was happy there and well looked after.
