Above showing the huge brick building of the Taunton Gaumont Palace in August 1949. However, what steals the show is the line up of vehicles parked in the cinema car park, which now would be an incredible collection of vintage motor vehicles. Just beyond can be seen a Taunton bus which at one time stopped in the car park for passengers.
