Photograph showing the well situated restaurant on the first floor above the entrance foyer, the day before the official opening. The opening was the next day Monday 12th December 1921 by the Lord Mayor of Norwich who congratulated the Architect John Owen Jones on the prestigious building rebuilt on the previous cinema site which was enlarged to seat 1,700. Later the Mayor hosted a reception in the Picture House restaurant.
