After nearly 62 years without a cinema, movies returned to Wynnum March 25, 2021, with Majestic Cinemas.

Wynumm’s previous Star Theatre was destroyed by fire May 17, 1959 (It has its own page on Cinema Treasures). Of the six auditoriums, the Gold Class has food and beverage delivered to your recliner or if preferred there is a bar and café on site.

Majestic Cinemas, a regional independent cinema chain, has locations in Port Macquarie, Nambucca, Inverell, Singleton, Nambour, The Entrance, Sawtell, Kempsey, and Wynnum - Notes by by OCRon.
