Dickinson Opera House
Besties - the Dickinson Opera House moved from the left to the right and the St. Charles Hotel and Opera House opened the same day on January 28, 1897. But when the Opera House’s fortunes slid, they uncoupled the buildings not long after the “Squaw Man” play’s end in December of 1910 banishing the Opera House to First Avenue. Who does that to a friend?
Fire came to the Opera House first and then arson destroying the Hotel second.
