Here from my collection is a rare calendar from the Starview Drive-In Theatre in Boulder Creek CA. When they were open these semi carboard ad flyers came out monthly in the season they were open. Every little store around the area had a big stack of them. We went many times during the Summer as kids. Remember seeing Jerry Lewis & Dean Martin in ‘Scared Stiff’ What I was wondering It was open in 1947 and closed in 1956 did they ever put in a wide Cinemascope screen in 1954 or did they just project the scope image on the middle part of the big 1.33 square screen? I think for a time the owners of the Starview DI also ran the Burl Theatre in downtown Boulder Creek a few miles away.
