David Schultz began working at the Grayslake Outdoor Theatre as a cashier in 1976 and last served as the manager shown here starting up the intermission reel in July 1995. The Grayslake at the time was operated by Rhyan Management Corp (or RMC Cinemas).
On the left is a Simplex projector with a Christie console/xenon lamphouse, and on the right is the theater’s original projector, a Century projector but with an upgraded retrofitted xenon lamphouse and power base setup.
