The Old Historic Theatre (1875–1972): The second iteration of the Theatre Royal opened in 1875 on Castlereagh Street, situated right between King Street and Rowe Street.
Over its nearly century-long run, it had prominent facades and entrances on both the King Street and Castlereagh Street sides of the intersection.
It was demolished in 1972 to make way for a major commercial skyscraper.
