SOURCE - Lost Wagga Wagga - (Sharing a photo & information from former Wagga Fireman Alec Peacock)

On 19th October,1962 over 500 firemen from 83 NSW Fire Brigade Stations gathered at Robertson Oval, Wagga Wagga for a skills demonstration day. Prior to the demonstration a march was held from Kincaid St to the oval, seen here in Baylis St approaching the corner of Forsyth St, a small part of Carmody’s Royal Hotel on the far right.

Leading the march is the NSW Fire Brigades Band followed by the team from Wagga. (Sharing a photo & information from former Wagga Fireman Alec Peacock)
