Griffin’s Victor Theatre opened on November 24, 1923. It burnt down on January 15, 1934 in a major fire, was demolished and rebuilt.

Now called the Victa Cinema, this historic Victor Harbor building is celebrating 100 years.

Heritage SA Heritage Assessment Officer and Historian, Chris Burns told Nikolai Beilharz & David Bevan, “It’s the last surviving, purpose built theatre built by Ozone Theatres Limited”.
