This is a picture of ABC Theatre taken in June of 1958.This picture was taken from the front yard at 14632 Short Street,just north of old 147th St.Short Street was one block east of the ABC theatre’s screen.The location of the theatre was the old 147th ST.(now Walter Zimny Drive)& Brennan Highway(now I57). We would enter the theatre from Brennan Highway & we had a great time there as kids. -Tom Jeffers

Thank you for this photo. A question but was that a driveway or the entrance to the theater?
Hi Dawn,that’s just a small road connecting Short St. & Division St.This shows the back of the screen & it’s the only picture I know of.I’d like to find some other pictures if they even exist.
