This Yumpu-stomped photo is from the Nov. 16, 1957 issue of Boxoffice. It was part of a 3-page interview with designer John Blocker about lessons learned in the dozen drive-ins that he’d built. That’s a pretty basic marquee, but I hadn’t seen any other photos of it. The original caption:
A view of the attraction board and the rear of the handsome screen tower which is seen by passing motorists. The vertical stripes are pink, green, black, green and pink, in that order.
