This is a really cool Robert O. Boller drawing of the multipurpose Brookside Theatre from 1936 for Mutual Theatres. It is an urban scape shopping center with a Colonial front. The multipurpose building reflects shopping centers that were being constructed at this time but this one was within a city block. Really cool. The interior of the theater went a different route recalling the pioneer days of the area with giant murals of the city’s past.
