Peoria Heights’ Crest Theatre seen here in 1946 showing a double bill of “White Tie and Tails” starring Dan Duryea, Ella Raines and William Bendix and a B cowboy western called “Bad Men On The Border” starring Kirby Grant, Fuzzy Night and Barbara Sears. The line of kids are there most definitely for a Saturday matinee of the cowboy flic and the two cartoons by Warner Bros, Disney or Fleischer studios.
