Tribute - Vale Bobby Johnson, Drummer Man with The Blue Jays who began his career on the stage of The Newmarket Theatre in the late 50’s

Sadly his son Robert has advised that Bobby passed away during June 2024. Bobby played with the Blue Jays alongside Laurie Allen, Alan Easterbook, Ray Houston, Frankie Brent, Doug Stirling & Chris Lawson amongst others. Bobby was there at the birth of Australian Rock ‘n Roll - Famously he performed & recorded on the stage of The Newmarket Theatre through Crest Records & Marcus Herman - He was almost 81.
