Patron entry was through a car park, and being located on the second floor, launching and establishing this new cinema was going to be an uphill task. There were soon reports in the local press that business was dire, with no customers at some sessions – despite promotional help from the Mall management, and helpful articles in The Broadcaster newspaper.
