Photograph taken in 1960 after the closure. The windows above the entrance once featured the name casino in the central panel of each leaded glass window. The premises to the left a coffee parlour continued through the closure and beyond, however, the licensed restaurant on the right gave up to bingo, like so many in the 1960’s.
