The Bakeronian Theater was opened by George Baker and Thomas Maguire in a storefront located in the Oregonian Building (1892-1950). Baker later sold out to Maguire. The theater eventually closed and the space reverted to retail.
In this postcard view the theater may be seen to the right of the large awning on the Sixth Street side of the building.
