An early 1900s postcard of Wakefield’s Main Street. The building on the left, with what appears to be a vertical marquee, MAY have housed the Royal Theatre which was on the second floor. In fact the last word on that marquee appears to be THEATRE. So I believe that was the Royal Theatre.
