Photograph of Embassy façade taken June 1939 two months before WW2 began. Interesting to see the entrance foot well carpets being dried out. The Embassy being within a small catchment area during the 1930’s the performances were daily from 5.30 p.m. Matinees Wednesday & Saturday from 2.15 p.m. Sunday evenings at 8 p.m.
