The bold exterior of the Regal Bexleyheath, by Architect Robert Cromie and built by contractors J.W. Ellingham Ltd of Dartford. Showing a building with low square central tower flanked by shops with rooms above, while rising behind is the mass of the main building, a feature of which is the decorated lift tower surmounted by a neon lighting standard visible from a great distance. Over the entrance canopy above the windows the Regal title stands out in metal letters lit with neon tubing.
