House of Wax presented in StereoVision 3D anamorphic process
StereoVision - In 1969 Chris Condon came up with a different type of polarised optics for his film Stewardesses known as StereoVision. This allowed 3D to be shot successfully on a single 35mm roll of film by using a side-by-side format with an anamorphic squeeze in the horizontal direction, thus creating a projected standard ratio image.
StereoVision - In a special licensing arrangement with Warner Bros, StereoVision optically printed House of Wax in the same side-by-side single strip anamorphic process to great effect..
