Photograph of 1936 opening showing entrance foyer. There were a pair of pay boxes divided by central steps down to stalls entrance, to the outer sides of the pay boxes were staircases up to bridge that joined these for entrance into the circle area. There were four large Art Deco pendant light fittings made by F.H. Pride Ltd., completing the decorative setting.
