Photograph taken of the Mayfair in 1951 during the Festival of Britain showing the new modern façade covering the original renaissance style created by architects Morgan & Buckingham for the former Palace. Also the new name ‘Mayfair’ on the front cinema fin. Sadly the Mayfair closed in 1956.
