Photograph showing the Odeon cinema’s streamlined foyer that connected both identical entrances from either side of the building. Continuing on a liner theme, a grand wide central staircase rises and breaks part way up to ease the congestion into the circle foyer and entrances. Either side are a pair of Pay Boxes. Opposite to these and out of view were the entrances into the stalls areas, sadly the design here was not repeated into the vast but rather bland auditorium. Surprisingly for such a large cinema there was no provision made for either a cafe or organ.
