Brochure for cinema restaurants No.2 1950. Left side showing three coaches parked outside the Gaumont Taunton awaiting passengers from a private function. Right side lists over 100 cinemas that still operated restaurants. One of the very last cinemas to close their restaurant was the Odeon Southampton in 1972. When I visited several months before closure it was still so popular we waited 45 minutes for a table!!!
