Looking down to the Main Foyer and the Goodwood Road entrance doors, with the refreshments bar to the left. Here our famous volunteer-made ice cream ‘Jumbos’, which are filled right to the bottom of the cones, are sold. The mural features motifs derived from the circular opening windows which date back to pre-airconditioning times, and the organ. The Star neon on the corner was removed before the theatre gained its present name, but the green star above still shines nightly as it has done from the beginning.
