The Arcadia Theater was the brainchild of Mrs. A. Van Wagner who, sadly, died during the building of the project. The plans were drawn by L.G. Van Wagner in a Colonial style. The venue launched May 4, 1914 with Marie Walcamp in “Through the Clouds” supposed by three shorts.
