Postage stamps that recognize the talents, primarily, African Americans in front of the camera. An example of a Hollywood Black genre film included is “Hallelujah.” “Caldonia” is a race film made not necessarily by African Americans, but the performers are black and the film was intended to only run in ‘Negro’ theaters. “Princess Tam-Tam” was a foreign (French) produced film that starred an American black woman, Josephine Baker.
