Scanned from the Cineplex Odeon: An Outline History book, the larger photo is how the original Cineplex VIP auditorium used to look. It’s double arm-rest type seating was removed in later years for more standard seating with tables on the side, and changed again in the mid 2010s with more leather recliner type seats, along with the removal of curtains and slightly larger floating screens installed.

In the inset of this photo, there is also a shot of the original stadium seating in the first stage of the 1997 expansion, in what I believe auditorium #3 or #4. These seats have long-since been removed and replaced.
