Verdi Hall in Philadelphia’s Little Italy was a project by Ferruccio A. Gianninni as a tribute to Giuseppe Verdi who had died in 1901. The project morphed from temporary bandstand to concert hall devoted to live opera. Ambitious in pre-Met Opera House Philly.
