Red Raider Drive-In
This standalone photo, with the headline Paving Rig Cuts Repair Costs to One-Fourth, ran in the Modern Theatre Section of the July 2, 1955 issue of Boxoffice. The original caption:
- Beeson of the Red Raider Drive-In, Lubbock, Tex., reports that with a paving rig purchased from Standard Mfg. Co., he has been able to cut patching and paving costs to one-quarter of the amount formerly paid a contractor. Shown are Bill Hallers, manager of the Red Raider, left, and operator J. C. McGee. The rig is easily operated and costs approximately $800. It has a three hp motor and two men can operate it easily. The tank holds 165 gallons of asphalt.

What happened to that formatting? Weird! Anyway, it was J. B. Beeson who started the caption.
