Lloyd Royal’s Royal Circuit reopened the Lomo as the Rebel Theatre on April 12, 1952 with Alan Young and Dinah Shore in “Aaron Slick from Punkin Crick" and running there another six years. The Rebel moniker would be moved to the Ritz in 1959.
