Bright Image Theatre #10 Regal Stonestown 12 Galleria SF CA

No masking so you see a little white screen on the top and bottom for a scope print in all spaces. I wonder if Cineworld Regal will shock movie people in the USA someday and put a nice set of title curtains and masking in at least one new large curved screen build? Charge a premium like they do for 4DX®, ScreenX® or RPX®!

This was one of the auditoriums #10 that the projector was not aligned correctly. The scope image was set too far to the left and the image went on the side outside the screen area. The right screen image was blank for about a foot and a half. We told the managers helper so If this was the only problem they did a good job with opening up 12 new screens. Also all the pre show 1.85 trailers just lit up flat in the middle part of the screen in a small hallo effect surrounded by white screen instead of using the full square 1.85 screen for a flat picture in most of the auditoriums. The scope wide image was ok except for this auditorium.

Regal 12 SF Theatre #10 has been corrected on my visit on Sat May 29. The screen is now perfect for alignment.
