This photograph was taken during April 1938 and shows the auditorium. Holophane lighting had been installed and the golden splay wall panels were by specialised cinema interior designers Mollo & Egan. This is the only cinema I know of where they carried out works outside of the UK possibly because of the extra costs involved for staff and transportation.
