This image is from the late ‘80’s. A sinkhole opened up during morning rush hour. The car at the bottom was a Mercedes Benz driven by an attorney. He was not injured. I worked downtown that summer and walked over to see it, but you really could not see anything from ground level. Things were patched up quickly.
