Palais Theatre 1 Lower Esplanade, Melbourne, VIC - Palais De Dance (next to the Palais Theatre) in full swing
In 1933 Jim Davidson & his swing band journeyed to Melbourne and opened at the Palais de Danse at St. Kilda, still working under a contract to J.C.Bendrodt. This led to a successful six month stay at the Southern Palais as a result.
