Boxoffice ran this photo in its Feb. 2, 1952 issue. The caption said the 69 was “one of three outdoor theatres operated by Dickinson Theatres”. Although Boxoffice erroneously said it was in Salina, the dark stripe near the concession booth matches the Pittsburg 69’s aerial photo.
