This is a picture of the Kinetoscope Salon in San Francisco. In April 14. 1894 Edison’s Kinetoscope began commercial operation. The Holland Brothers opened the first Kinetoscope Parlor at 1155 Broadway in New York City. More Kinetoscope parlors soon opened in other cities like San Francisco, Atlantic City, Chicago, London, Paris, Berlin and Hamburg.
