Lansing Drive-In
A day in the life of Lansing Drive-in Manager Pearce Parkhurst who leaves his house three miles away in 1952 going next to the Michigan National Bank’s drive-in window, then meeting with Lansing State Journal ad man Reed Hewitt to inspect the proofs for the forthcoming ad copy.
On the bottom row, it’s on to Kay Art to have a discussion about lamination with Barney Barnhardt; then to radio station WILS to discuss ads and promotion wth Monte Meyer, finally arriving at the drive-in for a photo op with Governor G. Mennen Williams and Chief Split Cloud who will be performing in person at the drive-in that night, and finally getting to his office to dream up new ad copy and promotional stunts for forthcoming shows.
