Nixon-Nirdlinger Circuit has fun with its staff in Coluseum Theatre baseball uniforms in 1917. Projectionist Vic Austin (bottom right) became head of the Grand Theatre in East Stroudsburg. Just from the photo, the Coliseum believed itself to be a first-run theatre where up to 1,400 could enjoy the cleanest and safest motion picture experience including 14 fire exits with bonus features on Monday and Thursday for a nickel where “the pictures do everything but talk.”
