The Capitol’s stage house was left standing when the theatre was demolished. One can see the outline of the proscenium opening, which has been bricked-up, and remnants of chiseled-away ornament can be seen outlining it. Above, white plaster marks the rear wall of the organ chamber, which was an over-proscenium installation. 2007.
