After a $1,500 refresh, it was rechristened as the New Oakdale Theatre launching March 27, 1926. (upper right)
Fred Lahm bought the theatre in 1928 adding sound on November 1, 1928, the venue became the Strand Theatre (ad at left) and changed from Russell Moviephone to RCA Photophone sound system on June 19, 1930 (bottom left).
Harvey Amusement bought the location from Lahm in June of 1936 as the venue was renamed the Oakdale Theatre on June 2, 1936 (bottom right). Three different operators then came in as the theatre closed in 1967.
