The Capitol Theatre goes all out to promote the big budget “Wizard of Oz” in 1939 with two mobile ads. The top is a truck that promotes the features of Oz including the tornado, Munchkinland and talking trees. At bottom is a carriage that goes through New York City but rider and passenger become Mickey Rooney and Judy Garland for the New York premiere
