The Woodbridge Theatre opened November 16, 1921. This ad from the November 18th issue of neighboring borough’s paper, the Roosevelt News, invites the reader to take “take the bus to Woodbridge”. Roosevelt today is known as Carteret, much thanks to the Carteret Historical Committee for allowing me to post this from their archives.
